About Cherokee Theatre Company
Cherokee Theatre Company was founded in 1989
by a group of theatre-lovers who wanted to bring the arts to Cherokee County.
The troupe, then called Cherokee Little Theatre Players, began performing in various venues
throughout the county and sponsoring events for local schools.
Our Mission:
To provide a creative environment for theatre arts by producing and supporting quality theatrical events for the Cherokee County community.

Movie Music Magic: Songs from the Cinema is a tribute to the great songs written for the movies. For many years the pop charts were filled with hits from the movies such as: Moon River, The Way We Were, Footloose, and all those beloved Disney tunes. Movie Music Magic runs the gamut from medleys of dance hits to songs from Sister Act;
from classic chart toppers by composers such as Henry Mancini, and Johnny Mercer, to name a few, to a tribute to Bollywood with songs from Slumdog Millionaire, and a selection of theme songs by John Williams with lyrics you’ve never heard before!
Movie Music Magic is lively foot-tapping,
sing-along entertainment for the whole family!
